Well, question is already shown in the topic. I only found the option to 'Leave Kingdom' or to speak to the ruler of the faction but both will lead to a massive -40 reputation hit (going from 20 to -20) when doing so. Seems like, right now, the game is handling being a mercenary just as being a vassal, what's a bit odd in my opinion. Path 1 - Go it alone. Right after helping them take Zeonica back, I attacked the badly weakened city and faction (I had been softening them up as a merc for years as above) and took Zeonica. You could try joining an Imperial faction as a vassal, be granted a city as a vassal, and then leave with your holdings - I did not test that and cannot
Bannerlord You take a huge relation loss (-20) to every clan if you break your contract, as though you broke it as a vassal. Which is especially harmful if you plan on having your own kingdom at some point since you won't attract those lords.
