imo both are worth getting, warband is better if you plan on playing with mods, as it has tons of total conversion mods. Vanilla Bannerlord, however, when compared to vanilla Warband, is leagues ahead, and large-scale mods are beginning to crop up for Bannerlord. For me, Bannerlord is better, but again they are both very much worth getting.

Well, I am member of Bannerlord COOP team. Firstly Bannerlord Online has nothing to do with coop, it is more like MMO with 1000 players in the server. It is completely different from base game.
