If you're reading this, chances are you're a softModder, someone who doesn't let anything stand in his or her way from ultimate customization. That means you've probably rooted and unlocked the bootloader on your HTC One to upgrade to the Google Play Edition ROM or CyanogenMod 10.2, installed the Xposed Framework, or made the HTC One logo an actual button.
The toolkit guides you through all the steps of unlocking your phone’s bootloader. Just start performing the steps from the top-left box one by one in that order. You’ll have to select a step, press the ‘Go’ button, follow any instructions that pop up to complete it, and move on to the next step, doing it till the process is complete.
Unlock Developer Options. Start by pulling down your notification shade, tapping the button on the top right-hand side, and selecting "Settings", or just access them from your app drawer. Once in Settings, scroll all the way down to About -> Software information -> More. Now start tapping where it says Build number.

Unlock bootloader again, using HTC unlock.bin (unlock.bin wouldn't work when i was on super cid) Flash custom recovery TWRP 2.6.3.0 (I'm not sure if 2.7.1.1 works with the old partition layout, so i used this version until i had upgraded to hboot 2.22, then I flashed 2.7.1.1. This may be an unnecessary step, but it always worked for me)
